Privacy Policy

Last updated October 10, 2026. This is the privacy policy of a demonstration site: Pepper Health is fictional, and nothing collected here is passed to an employer or applicant tracking system.

What we collect

• If you start an application: the email address you enter and the answers you give, saved as a draft so the emailed link can resume it. Your IP address is stored only as a one-way hash, used for rate limiting. Drafts are deleted automatically after 14 days.
• Cookies: cws_lastcat remembers the job category you last viewed for 30 days so the home page can show related roles; an application resume cookie (HTTP-only) holds your draft link for up to 14 days. Your cookie-banner choice is kept in your browser’s local storage.
• Server logs: the web server records standard request data (IP address, page requested, browser) for security and troubleshooting.
• AI agents: requests from known AI crawlers and agents are counted per day by agent name and the file requested. No personal data is stored with these counts.

What we do not do

• No advertising, analytics or tracking scripts, and no sale or sharing of personal data.
• No accounts or passwords for candidates.
• Third-party content is limited to embedded videos, which load from youtube-nocookie.com when a page includes one.

Your choices

You can clear cookies in your browser at any time. An application draft needs no action from you: it is deleted automatically after 14 days. Because Pepper Health is fictional, there is no one holding any other data about you; see contact.
